Astrological Foundation

“ Ranjith Opatha Jyothisha Padanama”  ( Astrological Foundation ) which was started in August 2011 is specialy for the Sri lankan astrologers and students who have successfully completed the astrology courses conducted by Mr.Ranjith Opatha.
The foundation consists of a Central Organization and branches islandwide and it is one and only astrological foundation in Sri lanka having such an organized network. Mr.Ranjith Opatha acts as the instructor of the foundation and he is the president of the Central Organization.

Main services of the organization

• Educational schoorlaship or university study ( this is done by donating the government salary Mr.Opatha is getting from his job – as a principal of Wellatha Maha Vidyalaya ) .3 schoolarships were given upto now.
• Conducting of workshops for Astrologers island wide
• Supporting for poor families
• Preparing of annual Litha ( Ephemeris )

Activities

The 1 st activity of the organization will be a Shila Viyaparaya near Sri Maha Bodhi – Anuradhapura on 20 th of February.
